If you were serving on the Enterprise, 
you’d drink your coffee from a grey cup… at least as long as a tribble didn’t get to it first.
These cups were everywhere in the original series. Kirk would often sip coffee from one in a meeting or have one in his hand on the bridge. In one of the most famous incidents, he discovers that tribbles have got into his dinner, eaten his chicken sandwich and drunk his coffee.
Star Fleet Cup
The original cups were made of Styrofoam, but we’ve given them an upgrade and ours are made of earthenware. We’ve also added a detail that you might have missed. When the cups first appeared in ‘Where No Man Has Gone Before’, they featured an Enterprise logo with a wreath around the planet Earth, but it never appeared on them again. With a little help, we sourced that logo from Gene Roddenberry’s files at UCLA and have included it on our cup. The tribble is removable, so your coffee should be safe.
