Lakeshore Records is set to 
release The Miniature Wife (Original Series Soundtrack) digitally today, April 10, with music by composer Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Sweatpea). A multi-faceted artist whose work spans multiple genres including film, TV, theater, ballet and fashion, Waller-Bridge utilizes strings and electronics to enhance the series’ comedy and characters’ themes. The series is streaming in its entirety now on Peacock.
In this relationship dramedy about a couple struggling with the imbalance of power in their marriage, a husband (a scientist) makes his wife (a novelist with writer’s block) feel figuratively small and unheard. Then, he accidentally shrinks her to six inches tall so now she’s literally small and unheard as the metaphor becomes real. This is an exploration of the fragility of love and ambition, cloaked in the absurdity of its premise. But at its core, it’s a love story and a remarriage story. As they struggle to navigate the sobering truth of her new, miniature reality, they are forced to confront whether their marriage — and their love — can survive. Perhaps, miniaturization is the epic reset these two needed to tackle the biggest crisis of their lives and fall in love all over again.

ABOUT ISOBEL WALLER-BRIDGE
Isobel Waller-Bridge is an award-winning composer known for her scores for film, television, ballet, and theatre, alongside her work in electronic and contemporary classical music. She works in a wide range of genres, extending across large-scale orchestral music, electronic sound design, experimental music, and songwriting.
Isobel has scored a multitude of feature films, including Munich: The Edge of War, Emma, I Came By, Wicked Little Letters, The Lesson, Magpie, and the BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse. For television, her work includes music for Fleabag, Black Mirror, Three Women, and Sweetpea.
Her commissions include 2024’s original work for the American Ballet Theatre for their new production of Crime and Punishment alongside Temperatures for the Philharmonia Orchestra, which premiered at the Royal Festival Hall in November 2021. Isobel has also collaborated with fashion houses Alexander McQueen and Simone Rocha, scored installations at Frieze London and Venice Biennale, and partnered with Francesca Hayward, principal ballerina at the Royal Opera House, for her dance film Siren. Isobel’s album releases include her 2025 album Objects, her 2022 album VIII in collaboration with 12 Ensemble, singles “Illuminations” and “September,” and 2015’s Music for Strings via Mercury KX/Decca.
