Lakeshore Records announced the release 
today of Among Us: Season 1– Original Series Soundtrack featuring music by Chrome Canyon (AKA Morgan Z). The score captures both the drama and whimsy of the series based on the globally popular multiplayer social deception game with a soaring orchestra of synths as well as exhilarating pop-inflected melodies. All ten episodes of the Paramount+ original animated series created by Executive Producer Owen Dennis are streaming now.
Notes Morgan: “It was so fun to reunite with Owen for this show. He’s obviously brilliant, and his imagination just fits perfectly with music I love to create. The show is a wild ride, and the music has to keep up, which for me as a composer was incredibly fun to do. I’m excited to see the music get out there – there’s some details that I think as a listener, you’ll really get a chance to hear when presented with the music on its own. I especially love that there’s a huge array of genres on the soundtrack, and excited that everyone will get to hear it all as a complete set.”

Among Us follows a group of eccentric, monochromatic Crewmates of a ship transporting junk across the galaxy who must root out an Impostor in their midst before they fall victim to its villainous designs. The series is based on the globally popular multiplayer social deception game of the same name.
The voice cast includes Yvette Nicole Brown as “Orange,” Kimiko Glenn as “Cyan,” Liv Hewson as “Black,” Ashley Johnson as “Purple,” Wayne Knight as “Lime,” Phil LaMarr as “Brown,” Randall Park as “Red,” Dan Stevens as “Blue,” Debra Wilson as “Yellow” and “Computer,” Elijah Wood as “Green” and Patton Oswalt as “White.”
Among Us is produced by CBS Studios and Innersloth, and is created by Owen Dennis, who also serves as executive producer alongside Forest Willard and Marcus Bromander, and Carl Neisser for Innersloth. Titmouse serves as the animation studios, with executive producers Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina.

ABOUT CHROME CANYON
Chrome Canyon is the analog-synth heavy project of composer and multi-instrumentalist Morgan Z Whirledge. From his roots studying jazz at NYC’s New School to releasing cinematic synth music on Stones Throw Records, Whirledge has built a reputation for dense, texture-heavy world-building using vintage hardware.
