Soundwaves: Cape Fear Apple Original Series Soundtrack Music by Jeff Russo

Lakeshore Records is set to release Cape Fear—Apple  Original Series Soundtrack digitally today, July 3 with an original score by Emmy Award-winning and Grammy-nominated composer Jeff Russo (Alien Earth). Russo leans into the high intensity atmosphere of the thriller series with soaring and impassioned orchestration that both pays homage to the classic film’s original themes and takes them to a distinctive level. New episodes of the Apple TV original series starring Amy Adams, Patrick Wilson and Javier Bardem are airing now.

Notes Russo: “Getting to write new material and themes as well as reimagining the original themes from this iconic story has been such an incredible thrill ride.”

Inspired by the 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg, a storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson) when Max Cady (Javier Bardem), the notorious killer they are responsible for putting behind bars, is let out of prison — and he wants vengeance.
