Filmtrax LTD. today releases the Mutiny 
Original Motion Picture Soundtrack with music by composer Marcus Trumpp. Available everywhere now, the album features Trumpp’s original score from the action-packed thriller. For Mutiny, Trumpp crafted a predominantly electronic and synthetic score, built around a custom instrument he created called the “Carnage Organ.” The music evolves from an ominous foghorn-like sound, establishing a gritty, grounded atmosphere that complements the film’s intense action and the director’s signature style. The score also introduces a distinct musical theme for Cole, the film’s central character portrayed by Jason Statham, underscoring his relentless determination and emotional journey throughout the film.
The MUTINY (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is available now on all major digital music platforms and the film is in theaters now.
Of the score, Marcus Trumpp says, “It was a privilege to jump aboard Mutiny and continue my longstanding collaboration with Jean-François Richet at the helm, whose grounded, visceral approach to filmmaking always pushes me to dig deeper as a composer. Jean-François has a remarkable ability to steer every creative decision with confidence while giving his collaborators the freedom to bring their own voice to the journey. That trust allowed me to create a score that navigates the line between gritty realism and cinematic pulse-pounding action – dark, tense and propulsive, but always serving the story. Beginning with the Artemis’ foghorn, which morphs into the film’s central motif, every musical choice was made to reinforce the film’s relentless momentum while still staying firmly grounded in its dark world.”
ABOUT MUTINY
In MUTINY, after witnessing his billionaire boss’s murder and being framed for the crime, Cole Reed (Jason Statham) boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss’ death only to discover an international conspiracy.
Directed by Jean-François Richet (Plane) and written by Lindsay Michel and J.P. Davis, the film is produced by Marc Butan and Jason Statham.

For more than two decades, Marcus Trumpp has composed music for film and television, contributing to projects that have collectively grossed more than $10 billion at the global box office. With over 100 credits to his name, he has become a trusted collaborator for filmmakers, known for crafting memorable themes, dynamic action cues, and emotionally driven scores.
His recent and upcoming work includes Lionsgate’s Mutiny, starring Jason Statham, Netflix’s Quasimodo, starring Vincent Cassel, and the 2026 action thriller Turbulence, starring Jeremy Irvine, Kelsey Grammer, and Olga Kurylenko. He also co-composed the scores for Netflix’s hugely successful Fear Street trilogy. It was Wolfgang Petersen’s The NeverEnding Story that sparked his fascination with film music and the extraordinary emotional power a score can bring to storytelling.
When he’s not in the studio, Marcus enjoys cooking, traveling with his family, diving into video games, and seeking out the world’s most exhilarating roller coasters. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
