After 4 seasons Syfy has cancelled Sanctuary. The show which featured Amanda Tapping
and Robin Dunne was rumored to be on the chopping block and has finally met the ax. According to reaction on Twitter from Tapping it came as a shock.
Sanctuary joins Eureka and many other popular shows the network cancelled despite large fan followings. As one Syfy star said in a recent interview with this reporter, “Syfy tends to eat its young.” Amanda Tapping’s presence will be missed since she has been a Syfy mainstay for over a decade.
