This July, IDW Publishing will bring you Secret Battles of Genghis Khan, the story of how a
boy named Temujin became the founder and Great Khan of the Mongol Empire. Adapting Khan’s engrossing life to graphic-novel form are writer Daryl Gregory, award-winning novelist of The Devil’s Alphabet and Pandemonium, and artists Alan Robinson (Weekly World News, Phoenix Without Ashes) and Jay Fotos (Locke & Key). Friday was the first day of Chicago Entertainment and Comic Expo and there was so much to
see. We caught up with our friends at Diamond, met the guys who are bringing Valiant comics back and checked out some props from Captain America: The First Avenger. We took some time to drop into Artist Alley to meet Ted Woods, Seth Damoose and see our old friend Dirk Manning.
