Mezco has done it again with this great 
looking figure depicting the leader of X-Force, Cable. I think the sculptors did great job taking an illustration and breathing life into the figure. If you are a fan of the One: 12 line you do not want to pass this one up.
The One:12 Collective Cable figure features a light-up function that illuminates his chest armor and techno-organic eye in both of his head sculpts. The telekinetic mutant features a newly sculpted cybernetic arm and is outfitted in a sleeveless shirt with chest armor, duty belt with gun holster, and a leg holster with knife sheath. Cable comes complete with a devastating arsenal of advanced weaponry.

Equipment: Hasbro Announces New Vehicle and Figure Sets for 2019
Some more announcements coming out of NYCC and 
this time around it is for Marvel Legends. Hasbro has released some great figures for the line and there really is something for everyone. The latest announcement for the Legends line is perfect for fans of Deadpool and/or the X-Men. Following up on the heels of the first 2 vehicle figure sets (Ghost Rider and Motorcycle and Black Widow and Motorcycle) released earlier this year.

Equipment: Hasbro Gives Attendees at NYCC a First Look at Some New Star Wars Toys Including New 6 Inch Black Series and Star Wars: Resistance
Hasbro showed off some of their upcoming
offerings from their Star Wars line. Included in the unveiling were figures from the new Disney XD show, Star Wars: Resistance, as well as an Advent Calendar and my personal favorite, the Black Series. Speaking of the 6 inch Black Series figures Hasbro showed off the favorite that fans were clamoring for, General Grievous. Though not one of my favorite characters I think the figure looks pretty good. Out of all of the 6 inch Black Series I think the one I am most excited for is the Obi-Wan in clone trooper armor. This figure will look great displayed with some clone troopers.

Equipment: DC Collectibles Reveals New Batman Cowl Line, Statues and Action Figures Coming Throughout
The Dark Knight and his foes are taking 
over the DC Collectibles slate in 2019. Announced today at New York Comic Con, DC Collectibles will debut a dedicated Bat-cowl line and new Batman-themed statues next summer.
Expanding its best-selling DC Gallery line of prop replicas, DC Collectibles will celebrate the distinct designs of the Caped Crusader’s iconic cowl seen in comics, video games and more, with a collection of 1:2 scale Bat-cowl replicas. The first Bat-cowl is inspired by DC’s critically acclaimed DC Universe Rebirth comics and will hit stores in May 2019. The DC Rebirth cowl will be followed by the 3-D interpretation of Batman’s cowl featured in the fan-favorite Batman: Arkham Asylum video game produced by Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Fans can bring home the Arkham Asylum cowl replica in July 2019.

Equipment: Hasbro Revealed Some Images and Information about New Offerings in the Marvel Legends Line at NYCC
NYCC is happening right now (as if you didn’t know) 
and there is so much information being released. So many toy releases, so little time…or is that so little money? Regardless of your lack of time, space or funds seeing what is new and upcoming is one of the best parts for any toy collector. Hasbro, who always does a great job with their Marvel Legends line announced today some more great figures for your collection. The new releases include more figures from Avengers: Infinity War because you can never have too many bad guys and some releases from X-Men. The Marvel Legends line is only getting better with each passing year and these are some of the best looking yet.

Equipment: Dark Tower Action Figures from Diamond Select Toys
“The man in black fled across the desert 
and the gunslinger followed.” is the opening line from The Gunslinger, a novella by Stephen King. Even though I read The Gunslinger in high school I can still remember that opening line, even after all these years. The story of the Gunslinger was a mix of fantasy and science fiction and set in a world so intriguing there had to be more to it than just one book. Stephen King knew that and eventually the story became a series of books known as The Dark Tower series. Those books eventually became a movie. Continue reading
