Lakeshore Records is set to release The Life of Chuck—Official Soundtrack digitally today, June 6 with music by Andy Grush and Taylor Newton Stewart AKA The Newton Brothers (X-Men ’97). Also included on the album is the song “Joy” by Pocket Queen. The luminescent score provides an uplifting and atmospheric backdrop to the poignant story of the lead character. The Life of Chuck opens in select theaters on June 6th and everywhere on June 13th.

Richards (John Wick series), and Tyler Bates (John Wick, Guardians of the Galaxy). The score pulses to a relentless and hypnotic beat with a menace that enhances the intensity of storyline from the world of John Wick.  The album also includes “Become The Assassin” by Le Castle Vania. The Lionsgate film is in theaters now.

E.V.A.- Five Points Fest and Toy Pizza Expo Bring Designer Toys to Beacon, NY!

Think you have to go to New York City or Los Angeles to immerse yourself in the designer toy scene? Well, no longer — the infamous Five Points Festival is taking over the town of Beacon, NY! About an hour north of NYC, the town was already the home to the underground Toy Pizza Experience, and now the two events are teaming up to make a weekend to remember!

Running June 7th to June 8th at the Yard, the events will present a variety of events, including music, movies, tattoos and of course toys! Toy vendors will include the Four Horsemen, Onell Design and Plunderlings, as well as dozens of other independent toy makers! Plus, former ToyFare Magazine editor Zach Oat will be signing his new book of toy photography, Wild Toys, in the free-for-all Toy Pizza section! (click hyperlink to see more about Zach’s book)

Soundwaves: Out Now- Dept. Q Soundtrack From The Netflix Series With Music From 3x Emmy-winner Carlos Rafael Rivera

The Soundtrack from the Netflix Series Dept. Q, composed by 3x Emmy-winner Carlos Rafael Rivera (The Queen’s Gambit, Godless), is now available on all major digital platforms, launching in tandem with the Netflix premiere of the highly anticipated crime drama. Reuniting with acclaimed filmmaker Scott Frank, Rivera crafts a propulsive score that anchors the show’s brooding atmosphere and emotional depth.

Rivera says, “As we were getting started on Dept. Q, Scott sent me a playlist featuring bands like Flogging Molly, The Tartan Rockers, and Dropkick Murphys. There was an aggression and muscularity in that music that Scott wanted translated into our story. Alongside that, we have our main character, DCI Carl Morck – a man whose life is in free fall – so the melody of the main title keeps descending. But my favorite part of the process was that the harmonic bed was built on a set of chords Scott himself had written. It made perfect sense to connect all these ideas into what became the main title of Dept. Q.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and Ryan Coogler, director of “Black Panther” and “Creed” and starring Michael B. Jordan, the critically acclaimed film has a “certified fresh” 97% Rotten Tomatoes score and is among the highest grossing horror movies of all time with a global box office of more than $316 million. “Sinners” posted the largest opening for an original film since “Us” was released in 2019 and is the only horror film in over 35 years to receive an “A” CinemaScore.
