The term, “so much____,so little time” is very true. T
hat phrase is especially spot-on when covering Toy Fair in New York City. There are hundreds of companies and individuals displaying what they have to offer which makes it impossible for one reporter to stop at every booth. Basically you have to pick and choose what to cover long before day 1. Though I do make time to stop and make new friends, there are just too many of my old friends that I can’t ignore. One of those booths I can’t pass by is the DC Collectibles booth. Every year they show off some beautiful stuff and this year was no exception.
For fans of the DC Universe this looks like it is going to an amazing year. DC Collectibles has something for everyone including toys, limited edition statues and my favorite, a prop replica of the Cold Gun that Captain Cold uses on the WB smash hit, The Flash. The Cold Gun would look great on your mantle, on the shelf over your bed and it even looks nice when you try and walk off with it and you get stopped. Trust me I know a lot about the last statement.
One of the less expensive items that I was drawn to was a Arrow/Flash two pack which look awesome. The likenesses and costumes are based on the title characters from their CW shows. These figures are just the tip of the iceberg with tons of great looking product coming soon. Take a look at the photo gallery from our visit and start saving your pennies. I can see the need to break the bank with all the goodness coming from DC Collectibles.
