Hasbro is a definite must when it comes to visiting Toy Fair. They have so much to display that they have to set up off site from the Javits. The best way to describe what Hasbro has to offer is that it is 2 floors of fun and games. Even though they are several blocks away from the action everyone wants to see what they have to offer so they make the trip.
Still absent from the line-up is the G.I. Joe line but Star Wars and Marvel are represented on a grand scale. Transformers also had a large section on the lower level at Hasbro. Autobots and Decepticons seemed to take over an entire section of the large room. While the Marvel, Star Wars and Transformers have been around for a while they have figures from the video game Overwatch joining the action figure releases from Hasbro. These look great and should be very sought after this year.
Overwatch also invaded the massive Nerf display. Nerf is always fun to stop by to get some stress out. The battery operated blasters usually run out of rounds long before they lose power. The Rival line is really looking good and I feel it will be pulling fans away from the tradition dart blasters. I know that I am becoming a huge fan.
Something new at Hasbro has to be the Power Rangers line. The figures range from the Titan line all the way up to figures geared toward the collector market. Personally I have never purchased a Power Ranger figure but these look really good and I may have to start collecting.
Many thanks to the people over at Hasbro for letting us stop by and letting us play.
