E.V.A.: Motor City Comic Con Day One Coverage Cosplay and More

I am so very happy that conventions are a thing again. As things slowly creep back to some semblance of normal, we venture out to hang with like-minded individuals, friends we haven’t seen in years and see the stars we normally only see on a screen. If you are in the Detroit area this weekend you should head over to Novi to the Motor City Comic Con.

For us, day one didn’t go exactly as planned. Ice cream for breakfast was on the agenda so that was good my GPS taking me on a roundabout tour of Michigan not planned. Arrival was 2 hours later than anticipated but that didn’t ruin the day. I have to say that for a Friday afternoon the convention was more crowded than I expected.

Day one was just spent walking up and down the aisles reconnecting with old friends and snapping photos of cosplayers. There will be many, many more photos coming tomorrow but until then enjoy these shots.

Motor City Comic Con continues Saturday (9:30-7) and Sunday (10-5). I know we have posted this info before but keep reading for all of the specifics for this weekend.
