Lakeshore Records is set to release 
Yellowstone Season 5—Original Series Soundtrack V.1 digitally December 9. The first volume of original score to the explosive fifth season of the hit series was composed by Brian Tyler (Crazy Rich Asians, The Fast and the Furious franchise, 1883), and Breton Vivian (1883). Yellowstone stars world-renowned actor and Oscar®-winner Kevin Costner as John Dutton and is co-created by critically-acclaimed, Oscar®-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Hell or High Water and Sicario), and John Linson. The series is available on Paramount Network.
Yellowstone chronicles the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.
Says Tyler: “’Yellowstone’ continues to be one of the most incredible artistic endeavors of my life. Taylor Sheridan’s visionary series has allowed me to compose some of my most emotionally resonant music. The music has evolved along with the series, and in Season 5, we incorporated the greater stakes and the emotions that accompany them. I continue to collaborate with Breton Vivian to create atmospheric and thematic music that hopefully immerses the listener in a world of passion, tragedy, and hope with the natural tones of orchestra, fiddle, and instruments from around the world.”

ABOUT BRIAN TYLER
BRIAN TYLER is an award-winning composer, multi-instrumentalist, and conductor whose illustrious film scoring career spans more than 100 films and a total gross of over $13B worldwide. His credits include the blockbuster hits Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, The Mummy starring Tom Cruise, worldwide phenomenon Crazy Rich Asians, as well as the films of the Fast and Furious franchise including The Fate of the Furious, which opened to record-setting global box office. Current projects include Taylor Sheridan’s 1923, Illumination’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and the recently premiered live show Awakening at Wynn Las Vegas.
Tyler’s television credits include widely successful shows such as Yellowstone (winner of the SoundTrackFest Award for Best TV Score of 2018), 1883 (Emmy-nominated for Outstanding Music, HMMA Award-winning for Best Score: Main Title), Scorpion, Magnum PI, Hawaii Five-0, Sleepy Hollow, and Transformers: Prime.
In 2018, Mr. Tyler was tapped by Formula 1 to compose the internationally revered sport’s theme song, which airs during the global broadcast of every race to an audience of millions. In 2015, Tyler composed the theme for the U.S. Open Golf Championships, now airing annually on FOX.
Tyler is also an accomplished conductor and often conducts the London Philharmonic, the Philharmonia Orchestra of London and the Hollywood Studio Symphony and has conducted symphonic concerts of his film music around the globe including at the Royal Festival Hall in London, with the Warsaw Philharmonic at Tauron Arena and the Chinese National Orchestra at the historic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
He recently launched Are We Dreaming, a completely immersive audio-visual experience created by Tyler himself, which debuted in October 2021 on the 400-foot Main Stage at Lost Lands Music Festival in an epic two-hour midnight performance for a crowd of 30,000 people.
The award-winning multi-instrumentalist and composer’s accolades include 12 Goldspirit Awards, 34 BMI Music Awards, 5 ASCAP Music Awards, 4 Emmy® Award nominations, an HMMA Award and a BAFTA nomination, among others. In 2010, Mr. Tyler was inducted into the music branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In 2022, he was awarded the BMI Icon Award for his exceptional body of work and phenomenal success as a composer, orchestral conductor, and music producer.
ABOUT BRETON VIVIAN
Breton Vivian is an Emmy award nominated, English-Australian composer based in Los Angeles, writing diverse music for some of the biggest projects in Hollywood. Having lived all over the world, including Australia, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom, Breton utilizes a broad range of influences that provide his music with a unique and refreshing sound.
He recently received an Emmy nomination as well as winning a Hollywood Music In Media Award for his score to Taylor Sheridan’s show 1883, starring Sam Elliott and Tim McGraw. He is also currently working on Sheridan’s upcoming tv-show 1923, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as well as Sheridan’s neo-western tv-show Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner, for which he has won two BMI awards. Breton previously scored Justin Baldoni’s debut feature film, Five Feet Apart, starring Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson. He has written additional music for Crazy Rich Asians as well as the Sundance-selected documentary The Devil We Know. His music and orchestrations can also be heard on blockbuster features such as The Mummy, The Fate of the Furious, and Power Rangers.
Breton’s unique and eclectic musical style grew out of the modern and classical music worlds he is a part of as well as the many cultures he’s experienced. His broad influences are evident in the sonic variety of his compositions.
