Hello Chicago! For the first time in about 8 years
we have returned to C2E2 the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. Day one is usually the easiest day of any convention. Personally, I like to roam the show floor to get an idea of what companies are there and to check out the layout.
One of the highlights of the day was I got to speak with Mark Shepard (Badger from Firefly) for a couple of minutes. We weren’t able to snap any photos but we had a brief chat which was, in my opinion, even better. Aside from Mark Shepard we spoke with Dirk Manning (Nightmare World) and Eric Palicki (A Wave Blue World).
The real stars of the day were the cosplayers. I love just how detailed and ornate some of the costumes are and frankly it is fun to dress up. Tomorrow is Saturday and the show is sold out so the number of cosplayers will be tripled and I can’t wait to see how many Mandalorians I run into.
