Comic Con day 2 was a total blast. Aside from running into old friends and multiple cosplayers there were amazing companies we spoke with and products galore. Our first stop of the day was Volante Design and they are always a joy. David Volante is so proud of his company, as well he should be because their products are top notch. David gave me a great interview which will be posted soon
We also dropped by the Fanhome booth and met the great Todd Stashwick who was signing at the booth. Fanhome , if you didn’t know is a subscription service for the geek in you! They have Batman, the Fast and Furious, NASCAR, Transformers and of course, Star Trek. I really can’t wait for these ships to hit.
We also got to check out Mecha Break a new game that is coming to Steam and looks phenomenal. Just standing in their booth looking at the videos made me want to play. I have a soft spot for Mecha Anime so this one hits pretty close to my heart. You battle other mechs over a variety of terrains…it does look great and that says a lot coming from a non-gamer. This game is truly a thing of beauty.
We were also fortunate to chat with our friends over at Heroes and Villains. This company is making some quality bags and apparel for your inner geek. The booth was themed to Deadpool and Wolverine with one side being all about the Merc with a Mouth and the other said was geared toward one of my favorite X-Men. Reviews for products are forthcoming.
No day at the con would be complete without the cosplayers. I was impressed at all the love Star Trek seemed to be getting as well as other fandoms including The Fifth Element. Enjoy the photos.
We also did an interview with Brian Mariotti from Thrilljoy toys which was handled by Domtober (AKA Old Man Fett). That interview will also be posted later this week. We also got to attend the Thrilljoy party which was an absolute blast with some great swag!
Enjoy the photos…more days to come.
