Soundtrack: MobLand Original Series Soundtrack Music by Matt BellamyMATT & Ilan Eshkeri

Lakeshore Records is set to release Paramount+’s  MobLand—Original Series Soundtrack digitally today, June 27 featuring an original score by Muse’s Matt Bellamy and award-winning composer Ilan Eshkeri (Ghost of Tsushima).  Pulsing synths and strings accentuate the dark themes and tension that permeate the dramatic series. MobLand, the new global crime series by Guy Ritchie starring Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan is streaming now on Paramount+.

MOBLAND stars Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan as the head of an organized crime family, fighting for power within a global crime syndicate.

Notes Bellamy: “For MobLand, I collaborated with Ilan Eshkeri to create a score that fuses industrial electronic sonics with live string quartet performances, forging a soundscape that mirrors the brutal elegance of London’s criminal underworld. We crafted original modular synth textures and unconventional guitar atmospheres, weaving them with modern orchestral elements to reflect the tension between tradition and chaos within the Harrigan dynasty. This hybrid approach aimed to create a visceral emotional undercurrent that feels raw, immediate, and darkly resonant.”

Adds Eshkeri: “The MobLand score is a hybrid sound world where tradition and modernity intersect. Working with Matt, we combined raw electronic elements with experimental strings, layered with crafted synth sounds and deep bass grooves to shape the sound world of the show.  This was created to highlight the tension between the raw brutality and fragile humanity of the show shifting between visceral aggression and aching beauty, reflecting the story’s central themes of love, loyalty and betrayal.”
