Lakeshore Records is set to release
Talamasca: The Secret Order—Original Series Soundtrack digitally today November 21, featuring music by award-winning composer Natalie Holt (Loki, Wallander). Holt utilizes propulsive synths and richly ominous strings augmented with expressive piano flourishes that vividly enhance the supernatural series’ themes and characters. The Season 1 finale of Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order debuts Sunday, November 23 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+.
The six-episode first season of Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order focuses on a secretive society called the Talamasca, comprised of the men and women responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, and other creatures scattered around the globe.
Notes Holt: “I’ve been obsessed with the world of Anne Rice since falling in love with Vampire Brad Pitt as a young teenager in the gothic world created in the 1994 adaptation. I also loved the recent TV series and it’s slower and enchanting re-imagining and the incredible chemistry between the actors and the wonderful score by my friend Daniel Hart, so I jumped at the chance to be part of exploring more of the Rice universe with this esteemed team. I felt like the mysterious tone really jumped from the pages of the script and the yearning of a lost childhood was part of what I hope I captured in the theme of the series.”

Headlined by Nicholas Denton, the series stars Academy Award®, BAFTA®, Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominee and SAG® Award-winner Elizabeth McGovern, SAG® Award-winner William Fichtner, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Celine Buckens, with SAG® Award-nominee Jason Schwartzman set to guest star and Eric Bogosian and Justin Kirk reprising their roles from Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire as crossover characters in the new series.
Denton stars as Guy Anatole; on the cusp of graduating law school, he is approached by a representative of the Talamasca, a secretive agency that monitors and protects us from the supernatural world.
