Lakeshore Records is set to release XO, 
Kitty: Season 3—Soundtrack from the Netflix Series digitally today, April 3 featuring an original score by Jina Hyojin An and Shirley Song. The composing partners return with more of their playful and poignant music that for three seasons has provided a colorful score to the global hit series. Lakeshore Records is also releasing two individual singles, “Euniq” with music by dv/sn and featuring series star HanBi Ryu (who plays Eunice) on vocals as well as “By My Side”—a song written for Kitty by the character Min Ho and performed by SaintRene. From Paramount Television Studios, season 3 of XO, Kitty starring Anna Cathcart is streaming now on Netflix.
Kitty Song Covey returns for her final year at KISS with her perfect senior year mapped out. She’s going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And she’s going to define her relationship with Min Ho. For real this time. But when surprise revelations throw her plans and relationships off course, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected.
Jina Hyojin An & Shirley Song said: “XO, Kitty Season 3 steps into senior year full of fun, chaos, and big feelings, a true rollercoaster in every sense. As the characters face big questions and shifting identities, love deepens and becomes more complex, bringing a bittersweet tension between holding on and moving forward. SaintRene said: “‘By My Side’ is especially meaningful to me because it has that early 2000s R&B/Pop sound—the kind of music I grew up on and that really shaped me as a singer. The team did an incredible job capturing the emotion of this character and scene, and I’m so grateful to play even a small part in bringing it to life.”
HanBi Ryu said: “Ever since I was little, I have always loved singing and dancing, so getting to participate in a song as a vocalist was such a dream come true moment for me. Euniq is incredibly catchy. It’s the perfect debut song for Eunice. The moment I heard it, it instantly grew on me. While filming this season, I was also in school, so I had to try my best not to slip out the melody and sing it unconsciously! This song means so much to me, and I hope everybody enjoys it as much as our whole crew did. Everyone on set was so supportive throughout the entire process, and I’m truly grateful for that. I hope this song could bring some euniq energy into your life!”

ABOUT JINA HYOJIN AN & SHIRLEY SONG
South Korean born violist and composer, Jina Hyojin An and Australian born composer, Shirley Song have been working closely with each other since 2018.
They recently co-composed Season 3 of the hit Netflix Series “XO, Kitty” and Shirley completed scoring Amy Wang’s directorial debut film “Slanted”.
Jina composed the score for HBO’s “38 At The Garden” docu short which was shorlisted for the 2023 Oscars and Shirley co-composed music from the HBO Max Series “Julia”.
Past credits include Netflix Television Series “Exploding Kittens” , the Dreamworks Animation / Apple TV + Series “Be@rBrick”, the Amazon film “Five Blind Dates”, the Netflix feature film “A Tourist Guide To Love”, “Princess Switch 3” featuring Vanessa Hudgens, the indie feature “The Re-Education of Molly Singer” and the feature comedy, “Freelancers Anonymous”.
They have both worked closely with Academy Award winning composer, Mychael Danna and his brother Jeff Danna and have contributed and written additional music on films and TV shows such as the 2021 Dreamworks animation by Guillermo Del Toro, “Trollhunters: Rise Of The Titans”, “Wizards: Tales Of Arcadia”, Pixar’s “Onward”, “On The Basis Of Sex”, the 2019 animation, “The Addams Family” and the Academy Award nominated “The Breadwinner”…
Jina and Shirley were also both part of the 2020 AWFC Mentorship Program where they were mentored by Golden Globe-nominated composer Harry Gregson Williams and Emmy Award winning composer, Laura Karpman.
Additionally, in 2021 & 2024, Jina and Shirley were respectively named one of eight composers to be a part of the Universal’s Global Talent Development & Inclusion Composer Diversity Initiative.
ABOUT SAINTRENE
Joshua Rene is a Tampa, Florida–born songwriter, vocalist, producer, and vocal producer. A ’90s baby raised on a steady mix of pop, R&B, and hip-hop, he’s driven by a passion for creating music that makes people move while genuinely feeling something. Joshua’s work has earned placements across major platforms including ESPN, FOX, Netflix, Paramount+, and NBC. He has collaborated with artists signed to leading labels such as UMG, Roc Nation, and Interscope.

HanBi Ryu is a Seoul-based actress and rising vocalist who gained international recognition for her breakout role as Eunice in the global Netflix hit series XO, Kitty.
