Milan Records today releases 007 
FIRST LIGHT (ORIGINAL VIDEO GAME SOUNDTRACK) with music by composing duo THE FLIGHT. Available everywhere now, the album features original score music written by The Flight’s Joe Henson and Alexis Smith for IO Interactive’s thrilling narrative action-adventure game following a young James Bond. Drawing from more than six decades of Bond history, the score for 007 First Light honors the franchise’s signature sound while charting new territory tailored to the game’s fresh take on the iconic character. Combining sweeping orchestral writing with contemporary electronic flourishes, the score gradually unfolds alongside Bond’s journey to becoming 007, capturing the excitement and intrigue of a legend in the making. 007 First Light is now available on PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox Series X/S and in Summer 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2.
Of the score, THE FLIGHT says, “Scoring James Bond’s return to video games after nearly 14 years away feels like a dream come true. ABOUT 007 FIRST LIGHT
007 First Light is a third-person action-adventure game that blends IO Interactive’s signature stealth and action gameplay mechanics, featuring a fully original, re-imagined origin story of James Bond.
Players will step into the shoes of a 26-year-old Bond, a promising yet sometimes rebellious Royal Navy air crewman who is recruited into MI6, immersing them in the exotic and dangerous world of espionage captured in the films. Bond’s adventures take players all around the globe, coming face to face with allies and foes while choosing how they overcome obstacles and challenges, whether it be with brute force, cunning guile, or charming wit.

Ivor Novello Award-winning duo Joe Henson and Alexis Smith, known collectively as The Flight, have been collaborating since 2005. Their shared creative vision and diverse musical influences have fueled a long-standing partnership spanning songwriting, production, and composition across film, television, and video games.
Most recently, The Flight scored 007 First Light, the critically acclaimed James Bond video game from IO Interactive that explores the origins of a young Bond and marks the first original Bond game in more than a decade. They also composed the score for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Ubisoft’s acclaimed entry set in 16th-century Japan, following dual protagonists Naoe and Yasuke in the ongoing conflict between the Assassins and Templars.
The Flight are renowned for their work on some of the industry’s most celebrated game franchises, including Alien: Isolation, Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Gotham Knights.
