Hallmark has been producing Star 
Trek Keepsake ornaments for 35 years. The first ornament was the original U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 which was fitting. Over the years Star Trek has been represented many times with multiple ships being released, along with ornaments of the characters and insignias. I can’t believe that I have been a collector that long.
This year there are 3 different ships available at Hallmark Gold Crown stores, the U.S.S. Cerritos from Star Trek: Lower Decks, the Galileo 7 from the episode of the same name and the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 G from Star Trek: Picard. The Enterprise G is the one we will be reviewing.
The U.S.S. Enterprise G was seen in the third season of Star Trek: Picard in the final episode titled “The Last Generation.” This newest Enterprise was placed under the command of Annika Hansen, also known as 7 of 9.
I am always impressed by just how detailed Hallmark makes each ship. The one stand out feature of the U.S.S. Enterprise G is that it is a metal ornament. The metal parts are the saucer section and the secondary hull. The nacelle pylons and the nacelles appear to be made out of plastic. Despite being made from 2 different materials, the ornament is perfectly balanced. The ship is very detailed and looks great. I do like the fact that the nomenclature is in the mold and not just a sticker.

This is a great looking ornament and it can be displayed year-round. There nothing that singles it out as a holiday ornament, it just looks like a very cool collectible. The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 G would look good on display on a desk, on a shelf or any place else you want. This collectible would also make a great gift for the Trekker in your life.
