From the depths of the digital underground
comes the LOUIS THEROUX: INSIDE THE MANOSPHERE (SOUNDTRACK FROM THE NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY), with music by composer Paul Leonard-Morgan and featuring production, mixing, and beatmaking by Ross Hamilton — available everywhere now. Created for the 90-minute Netflix documentary Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere, the score delivers a bold and unconventional sonic landscape. Leonard-Morgan blends dark synth textures, cyberpunk energy, and cinematic intensity while Hamilton’s production and beats bring a modern electronic edge.
Presented by renowned British journalist and filmmaker Louis Theroux, the film investigates the online world of extreme hypermasculinity and misogyny. Theroux speaks with controversial influencers including HSTikkyTokky and Myron Gaines to explore how these figures shape young men’s perceptions of masculinity and influence online culture.
Premiering March 11, 2026 on Netflix, the soundtrack invites listeners into the documentary’s dark, synth-driven sonic world, a powerful musical companion to one of the year’s most provocative releases.
PAUL LEONARD-MORGAN notes, “Louis Theroux is one of the finest interviewers in the world. Tackling a job like scoring the soundtrack to Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere begs the question: how do you portray these huge streamers who have more viewers than many TV shows?
I decided not to glorify them, nor to denigrate them, but instead to create a musical sound for where it’s taking place, Miami. The muscles. The male testosterone and egos. Donna Summer meets cyberpunk meets crunched-up, stuttered Timbaland style beats. Scoring this with long-term collaborator and music producer Ross Hamilton, we created beats, phat basses, and synths to take us into this world – dark swagger, attitude, and energy.
Seeing people’s reactions to it riding high in the mix and asking, “Who chose the music used in this film?” is always the highest accolade you can get. And seeing Netflix use this music in the trailers is so unusual, it feels great to have the musical identity of the show feel like an extra character in the film.”
ROSS HAMILTON says, “This is a skilfully made film on a very thought provoking subject and as such requires a nuanced approach as a composer.
In this instance, myself and Paul have tried to provide the right energy, momentum and tone without trying to manipulate the audience or their emotions. Like Louis’ interview techniques, it’s important not to lead people to feel a certain way but just let their stories be told for the viewer to make up their own minds.
Creating a palette/style which fits the cultural context and doesn’t preach was an important factor for us both. We’ve ended up with a strong, sonically cohesive soundtrack to the film.
The fact we were collaborating online in LA, London, Glasgow and (at times) Tokyo, seemed quite fitting given the global scale of the subject matter.”

ABOUT LOUIS THEROUX: INSIDE THE MANOSPHERE
Louis Theroux’s first Netflix feature-length documentary sees him travel to Miami, New York and Marbella to meet a network of influencers and content creators at the heart of the extreme end of the Manosphere.
The 90-minute film explores how key figures, including Harrison Sullivan (AKA HS Tikky Tokky), Myron Gaines, Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy (AKA Sneako), Justin Waller and Ed Matthews, are helping to reshape young men’s ideas about masculinity and fuelling a resurgent global men’s rights movement.
Louis immerses himself in their ecosystem, encountering prominent figures within the movement, each presenting their own interpretations of traditional gender roles and values. He becomes familiar with some of their language, including terms such as “red-pilling”, and examines the appeal of these ideas and attitudes, as well as the perspectives of the women in their lives who appear to support them.
