Astronaut Selection (Contest): Win a Pair of Purple “Goo” Gloves from the Set of Warehouse 13

Back in October a group of reporters were able to venture to the set of Warehouse 13. While we were there we were able to explore, take photos and talk to the cast. Some of usWarehouse 13 rubber gloves were able to leave with parting gifts…official Warehouse purple gloves.

Hard Copy: Heed The Creed…Assassin’s Creed Graphic Novel Review

White cloaks, vague historical conspiracies, and arm blades impaling unsuspecting victimsacdesmond are just a few things people have come to expect from the Assassin’s Creed universe. In these regards the three-part English adapted graphic novels will not disappoint.

 

Published through Titan Books, the trilogy is adapted from the 2009 French graphic novels of the same titles. Book one is titled Desmond, book two is Accipiter, and book three Acquilis.  Written by Éric Corbeyran, the three novels take you on a fast paced adventure that begins just before the events of Assassin’s Creed 2, the novel’s video game counterpart, and follows hero Desmond and a band of assassins as they attempt to thwart the evil Templars.  While any stalwart fan will notice that the novels do not link up perfectly with the games, they do well in providing some back story otherwise unavailable. Equipment: Nerf Rough Cut Review

Nerf does a great job making sci-fi looking blasters. 2013 has seen IMG_5032Nerf turn away from the yellow/orange color scheme opting for a more aesthetically pleasing blue/white, but that hasn’t been their only change; Nerf has also kicked up the power. The new line boasts up to a 75ft range on everything. This is great for those of us who don’t mod their blasters. When I saw the Rough Cut I knew I had to have one. Continue reading

Superman: Unbound is the newest offering from DC Animation. This time around Mattsuperman-unbound-blu-ray Bomer (White Collar) voices the Last Son of Krypton with Stana Katic (Castle) as Lois Lane and Molly Quinn (Castle) as Supergirl. I have to say when I first heard that Bomer was taking over voice duties I was disappointed it wasn’t Tim Daly, but I now think that Bomer is a great successor. Continue reading
