Nerf does a great job making sci-fi looking blasters. 2013 has seen IMG_5032Nerf turn away from the yellow/orange color scheme opting for a more aesthetically pleasing blue/white, but that hasn’t been their only change; Nerf has also kicked up the power. The new line boasts up to a 75ft range on everything. This is great for those of us who don’t mod their blasters. When I saw the Rough Cut I knew I had to have one. Continue reading

Vids: Superman Unbound Review

Superman: Unbound is the newest offering from DC Animation. This time around Mattsuperman-unbound-blu-ray Bomer (White Collar) voices the Last Son of Krypton with Stana Katic (Castle) as Lois Lane and Molly Quinn (Castle) as Supergirl. I have to say when I first heard that Bomer was taking over voice duties I was disappointed it wasn’t Tim Daly, but I now think that Bomer is a great successor. Continue reading

Because of the tension in the world, the spy genre was at its peak, in novels, on television and on the big screen. Exato Game Studios and Reverb Publishing are “blocked and lGC_Background_zps9eaa468doaded” with a new video for Guncraft, showing how players can build in the heat of battle to gain the upper hand. Unlike similar games, Guncraft enables players to build during multiplayer matches, crafting structures and walls block-by-block to use as immediate cover.  Alternatively, players can create any prefab structure to drop immediately in-game using Guncraft’s prefabrication system. Equipment: Dark Horse Deluxe & BioWare Unveil TURIAN Cruiser!

One of the cornerstones of both Dark Horse’s publishing and product line in recent years,Turian-Crusier-04-032613 copy has been the massive video game franchise, Mass Effect.

To date, Dark Horse Deluxe has released four different ships, as well as limited edition variant, and high end editions. Up next is the Turian cruiser, which bears some slight resemblance to the Normandy, due to the cooperative effort between the Turians and the human race in the Alliance ship’s construction. This race in Mass Effect, are members of the Citadel Council, well known for their military role, and their contribution of starships to the Citadel Fleet. Continue reading
