Dark Horse Comics, 20th Century Studios 
and Lightstorm Entertainment invite fans of James Cameron’s AVATAR films to fill in the gap year with an all-new story, Avatar: The Gap Year—Tipping Point. Set to debut in October 2025, this 6-issue series will bridge the narrative between Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water and features new villains facing down familiar heroes. Writer Ethan Sacks (Star Wars Hyperspace Stories: Codebreaker, Marvel’s Old Man Hawkeye) lends his adventurous creative touch to the world of the Na’vi alongside artist Salvatore Porcaro (Dragonero, CCTVYLLE), colorist Michael Atiyeh (Star Wars Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora–So’lek’s Journey), and letterer Michael Heisler (TexArcanum, Avatar: Adapt or Die). The artistic team of Porcaro and Atiyeh create the covers for the series which brings the Academy Award–winning world of the films to the page.

Barrett’s score inhabits two main themes—an acoustic series of soundscapes for the character Laura and a more modern electronic backdrop for the character Cherry. As the dramatic story progresses, the score becomes darker and crosses over into a more unhinged territory. Lakeshore Records is set to release 
Untamed—Soundtrack from the Netflix Series with an original score by Emmy Award-winning composer Jeff Russo (Alien: Earth, Ripley). The melodic, moody, and atmospheric music underscores the dark crime committed and the inner turmoil of the main characters playing out in the vast wilderness of Yosemite.
The first season of the series is executive produced by Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith who also serve as co-showrunners. the first single taken from the currently airing Task—Original Series Soundtrack with an original score by Dan Deacon. Titled, “One Coin,” the vivid electronic track utilizes strings and synths that showcase shifting dynamics reflecting the themes of the dramatic detective series. The original series Task starring Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphry, airs new episodes weekly on HBO and streams on HBO Max.
Set in the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia, an FBI agent (Mark Ruffalo) heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family man (Tom Pelphrey).
