I can’t think of a better pair to “hold up” your books than The Joker and Harley Quinn. New from DC Collectibles these bookends have these two nefarious villains holding Batman as a captive audience for their own amusement. Batman has the most confused look on his face, which I find quite hilarious.
These new bookends are designed by Nooligan and sculpted by Paul Harding. In case you don’t know, Nooligan is a California based graphic designer, comic creator and artist. His artwork, including these bookends, is highly stylized and, in the case of the bookends, brightly colored. The Joker and Harley Quinn bookends stand approximately 8.5 inches tall and have a worldwide edition of just 5000.
This unique take on two of the most popular characters in the Bat-verse would make an excellent addition to anyone’s collection. Seriously, everyone needs this to keep their copies of The Kama Sutra, 1001 Psychotic jokes and the DSM IV upright and in order. Actually, these bookends would work for any books in your collection, no joke.
I really do like the look of these bookends. They are a unique piece of Nooligan art, unlike any else in your collection. Nowadays, it is a wonderful thing to find that one item you must add to your stash and this could be that item. If you need to justify the purchase to either yourself or a significant other all you have to do is say, “This sculpture is a one of a kind piece of artwork and there will never be another. Besides, Harley Quinn is hot.”
You can pick up your very own The Joker and Harley Quinn Bookends at your local comic shop or online at DC Collectibles for $249.00. This is a great way to spend the Christmas money you got from the parents…or the Hanukah money from your bubbe.
Special thanks to DC Collectibles for sending these great bookends along!
