Equipment: Star Trek Tridimensional Chess Set Prop Replica from The Noble Collection
The Noble Collection has been around
since 1991; this means they have been making top of the line prop replicas for 34 years. Known for producing products from multiple franchises such as Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, DC properties, Harry Potter and Star Trek; from the smallest bookmark to the largest wand, everything they produce is quality. I own quite a few of their products and I have always been impressed.
Speaking of being impressed, the first time I saw the Noble Collection’s Star Trek Tridimensional Chess Set it was love at first sight. This 1:1 scale prop replica is amazing. Making its first appearance in the Star Trek Original Series episode Charlie X, the 3-D chess set is one of the most recognizable props from Star Trek behind only the phaser and communicator. The Star Trek 3-Dimensional Chess Set from The Noble Collection is so accurate that it was used (with slight modifications) in an episode of Star Trek Strange New Worlds.
Equipment: Hallmark Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Harry Potter Keepsake Ornament
The other day there was an ad on
television talking about, “Back to School.” Later that day I saw Halloween decorations at Costco; now the final proof that Christmas is right around the corner, Hallmark is having their premiere event for Keepsake Ornaments. Since I am obviously already behind in my holiday shopping I might as well take some time to do an ornament review. Hallmark has sent us the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter ornament from their Storyteller line (34.99).
If you are not familiar with the Storyteller Interactive Ornaments they are all connected via the Hallmark Keepsake Power Cord. Starting in 2017 ornaments of this type turn your tree into more than just a display, it becomes an interactive show with sounds and lights. I remember seeing Storyteller Interactive Ornaments for Star Trek where the ornaments played out a scene from an episode from the Original Series.
