Lakeshore Records released The School 
Duel—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally, on April 24, with an original score by Trevor Gureckis (Servant, The Friend). The dark themes of the dystopian film directed by Todd Wiseman, Jr. are lifted to disturbing heights by the pulsing, industrial synth score. Adding to the ominous intensity of the score is Gureckis’ hypnotic manipulation of the sounds of actual guns clicking, re-loading and shooting. The School Duel is in theaters now.

Mexico, Hasbro unveiled two new entries in the popular STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES product line, including a 6-inch scale IMPERIAL REMNANT WARLORD & POLAR MOUSE DROID figure set inspired by the upcoming film STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU, and an all-new FX ELITE MAUL LIGHTSABER™.

are releasing Jo Nesbo’s Detective Hole—Original Series Soundtrack digitally today, April 24. The score was composed and recorded by internationally renowned musician Nick Cave, alongside long-time collaborator Warren Ellis. Cave and Ellis’ score provides a singularly dark and intense backdrop to the series based on the popular detective Harry Hole by author, creator and series executive producer Jo Nesbø. The album is available digitally in the Americas on Lakeshore Records and the rest of the world via Invada Records. With over 60 million books sold worldwide – including a staggering 5.6 million in Norway alone (more than the nation’s population!) – Nesbø’s novels have enthralled readers and defined the crime genre. Soundwaves: The Vampire Lestat’s Gritty Cover of Billy Idol’s Dancing with Myself
The world’s first immortal rockstar, 
Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), adds his own vampiric flair to Billy Idol’s iconic song “Dancing With Myself” in the third official single released from The Vampire Lestat, which debuts Sunday, June 7 on AMC and AMC+. AMC Global Media and Lakeshore Records released the single on the Vampire Lestat artist profile pages at major digital music services, including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. “Dancing With Myself” joins the recently released singles “All Fall Down,” which plays behind the opening titles, and “Long Face,” both with original music and lyrics by Hart and performed by Reid.
Soundwaves: APEX Soundtrack From The Netflix Film Music by Högni
Emerging from the raw, acoustic textures 
of the wilderness comes the APEX (Soundtrack From The Netflix Film), featuring a hauntingly visceral score by acclaimed Icelandic composer Högni. Timed with the film’s worldwide premiere on Netflix, the soundtrack offers a departure from traditional thriller music. Eschewing the industry’s standard synth-heavy tropes in favor of a daringly organic approach, Högni spent two months on location in Australia’s Blue Mountains to build a sonic world rooted in the acoustics of the wild. By strictly avoiding electronics to maintain a “non-urban” atmosphere, he integrated avian and insect-inspired instrumentation, utilizing woodwinds like oboes and bassoons to create “jittering,” animalistic textures that mirror the film’s predatory environment.
The resulting score is a study in dichotomy: balancing regal, melodic themes for the human characters against the fragmented chaos of the wilderness.
Soundwaves: Normal Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Music by Harry Gregson-Williams and Ryder McNair
Lakeshore Records announced the 
release of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Normal on April 17, with a soaring orchestral original score by composers Harry Gregson-Williams and Ryder McNair (both on Gladiator II). The Magnolia Pictures film directed by Ben Wheatley and starring Bob Odenkirk is in theaters now.
For Sheriff Ulysses (Odenkirk), his provisional posting to the quaint Midwestern American town of Normal was meant to be a welcome respite from both his marital woes and recent moral injuries in the line of duty. But when a botched bank robbery interrupts the municipality’s tranquil pace, a dark secret is inadvertently exposed, and Ulysses soon discovers that the town is anything but its namesake.
