Hollywood Records and 20th Century Studios announce the release of The Devil Wears Prada 2 (Original Score Soundtrack). Returning to the franchise is 2x Emmy®-winning composer Theodore Shapiro, who has crafted a sophisticated new score that honors the legacy of the original film while evolving its signature sound.

Shapiro shares, “It was amazing to return to the world of THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA twenty years later, and revisit both the characters and the musical themes from the original film.  The score to THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2 updates the language of the electronic production in the music, while maintaining a sense of timeless elegance.”

Soundwaves: Animal Farm Soundtrack from the Angel Film Music by Heitor Pereira

Lakeshore Records announces the release of Animal Farm—Soundtrack from the Angel Film digitally today, May 1 featuring music by Grammy Award-winning composer Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me). Ranging from joyous to sinister, the extraordinarily vivid orchestral score provides a backdrop to the many thematic and emotional themes of the animated reimagining of the classic book adapted by director Andy Serkis. The soundtrack also includes three high energy electronic tracks by legendary DJ Carl Cox. Animal Farm, featuring an all-star voice cast including Seth Rogen, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, and Woody Harrelson, is in theaters beginning today. Soundwaves: Mortal Kombat II Original Motion Picture Soundtrack from WaterTower Music

WaterTower Music today announces the release of the Mortal Kombat II Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, available now on all major digital streaming platforms. The album features original score by composer Benjamin Wallfisch and includes a new version of the franchise’s iconic theme, “Techno Syndrome,” featuring vocals from Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon. Equipment: Hasbro Unveils New Star Wars Products Ahead of May the 4th

During today’s Hasbro Pulse Fanstream and ahead of STAR WARS Day (May the 4th), new products were revealed, inspired by iconic STAR WARS stories. 

Expanding THE BLACK SERIES 6-inch scale product line are figures of Clone Commando, Satele Shan, Republic Trooper, Commander Thorn, Commander Doom and Mission Vao & Carth Onasi 2-pack. Fans can also look forward to THE BLACK SERIES mini helmets of Darth Vader and Clone Captain Rex, available exclusively at Walmart. 

 

THE VINTAGE COLLECTION 3.75-inch line adds Anakin Skywalker, Clone Trooper Commander, Bodhi Rook, Plo Koon, Luuke and Geonosian Warriors 4-pack figures.

Soundwaves: Bear McCreary announces New Album, 2026 USA/West Coast Tour

“The Singularity” is the name of Emmy and BAFTA Award–winning composer Bear McCreary‘s symphonic metal project. In 2024, McCreary released an ambitious hard rock concept album of the same name. The album featured guest appearances by an extraordinary lineup of rock talent, including Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Rufus Wainwright, and more.

Today, McCreary is thrilled to announce the release of The Singularity: Ekleipsis, the follow-up album, which continues the metal saga of a damaged world in turmoil. Lakeshore Records released The School Duel—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally, on April 24, with an original score by Trevor Gureckis (Servant, The Friend). The dark themes of the dystopian film directed by Todd Wiseman, Jr. are lifted to disturbing heights by the pulsing, industrial synth score.
