Last year Nerf announced a blaster based on 
the M41-A pulse rifle from one of the greatest science fiction films ever made, Aliens. The pulse rifle hasn’t been released yet but from the photos, looks like it is going to be outstanding. Now Hasbro has announced another prop replica turned Nerf and it is something I have wanted since I was a kid, a phaser rifle from Star Trek: The Next Generation. I have been a big fan of Nerf for a long time and they continue to impress me.

Last Friday, Hasbro revealed two new 
figures to the Star Wars: The Black Series Gaming Greats line with a Battle Droid inspired by Star Wars: Republic Commando and a Rocket Launcher Trooper inspired by Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Both figures will be available for pre-order later this month at GameStop as part of GameStop Collector Fest.
Motor City Comic Con, Michigan’s largest

Hasbro revealed four new additions to its 
Star Wars: The Black Series line, with each figure inspired by the new TV series Star Wars: Andor streaming later this month on Disney+! The figures include Cassian Andor (Aldhani Mission), Shore Trooper, and two different Imperial Officers (Ferix and Dark Times) respectively.
The Cyberpunk 2077 series tells a standalone, 
10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.
The animation and look of the show is like something straight out of 1980’s Japan. The trailer actually reminded me of the series, Bubblegum Crisis that premiered in 1987. I think the retro look and vibe of this Cyberpunk series will be a draw for fans of old school anime.
Hasbro revealed the newest figure in the 
Marvel Legends line – Gorr the God Butcher! Inspired by the character’s appearance in Marvel Comics’ Thor: God of Thunder. The figure comes with 2 accessories including an alternate head and hand should you choose to display the figure wielding his legendary Necrosword. Marvel Legends Series Gorr will be available for pre-order tomorrow, 8/30, at 1 p.m. ET, exclusively at Amazon.
I have been a Star Trek fan for as far back as 
I can remember. If you ask my father, at the age of 3 I was able to recite the, “Space, the final frontier…” speech from memory. I don’t know if I believe the story but I do know I love Star Trek. I love the ships, the uniforms and of course the props. Star Trek has always had some cool looking props from the 1960s all the way up to present day; the designs have always been impressive.
