Equipement: Mega Bloks Spider-Man Bridge Showdown Playset Review
The Spider-Man reboot was one of the hottest movies of the sum
mer. Andrew Garfield did a great job bringing the arachnid superhero with a nerdy alter-ego to life. Aside from a new love interest The Amazing Spider-Man also gave us The Lizard for the first time in live action. Rhys Ifans’ portrayal of the disabled scientist in search of a way to regrow limbs had just the right amount of psychosis.
The second best thing about blockbuster movies are the movie tie-ins. When you have a bankable character such as Spider-Man you know that there will be tons of merchandise to go with the movie. Aside from the line of action figures currently available, Mega Bloks has come out with a line of building block playsets. These playsets are designed to help kids not just recreate scenes from the film but to use their imagination building things they dream up. Continue reading

Homeland, airing on Showtime, has to be one of the best depictions 
of the spy genre on television. The show picked up 6 Emmy Awards this week, one for each of the lead actors (Claire Danes and Damian Lewis) as well as an Emmy for best Drama series and 3 others (writing, editing and casting).
