s a horde of the undead attacking a prison. Saturday is usually the most crowded day at conventions and with the nice weather in the Chicago area there was really no reason to stay home. Despite the multitude of people that were there, it was still a very laid back and friendly atmosphere; not something you would expect to happen where there are zombies walking about. ns are great places to meet people with similar interests but when you meet someone who shares your opinion on a subject it is (to steal a phrase), priceless. The folks over at A Crowded Coop and I are definitely on the same page when it comes to licensed products. A Crowded Coop believes that a product from, let’s say, Portal, doesn’t need to say “Portal” on it as long as the people who want it know what it is from. You don’t need a “Starfleet Academy” shirt to have “Star Trek” on it because if you know Starfleet you know it is from Star Trek. Continue reading
