Vids: Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment Announces Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride on 4K UHD

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the stop-motion-animated fantasy musical film Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, the 2005 film will be available for purchase on 4K Ultra HD Disc and Digital for the first time on September 23.

Returning to the painstaking stop-motion animation he employed with amazing success in The Nightmare Before Christmas, Tim Burton presents Corpse Bride, a hair-raising legend based on a 19th-century Russian folktale.

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride will be available to purchase on Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc online and in-store at major retailers and available for purchase Digitally from Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Fandango at Home and more. The film will also be available in collectible steelbook packaging.

Milan Records today releases THE NAKED GUN (MUSIC FROM THE MOTION PICTURE) featuring music by GRAMMY® Award-winning composer LORNE BALFE. The eco-cyber thriller series A THIN LINE (early 2023) revolves around young twin sisters Anna (Saskia Rosendahl) and Benni (Hanna Hilsdorf), who use all digital tools at their disposal to bring crimes against the environment to light. When their hack into a government server leads to a police raid, the introverted Anna is arrested while the charismatic Benni disappears. Shortly after, Anna receives a visit from the head of a police unit (Peter Kurth) against cybercrime. When he reveals to her that Benni is part of a radical new terrorist group that is carrying out violent attacks against politicians and businesses, Anna must decide which side to take.

Soundwaves: Original Series Soundtrack for Chief of War by Hans Zimmer Available Now!

Lakeshore Records and Fifth Season are set to release Chief of War—Apple TV+ Original Series Soundtrack digitally today, August 1, with original music by Hans Zimmer. The Grammy and Academy Award-winning composer wrote the theme music and co-produced the entire score with James Everingham, who is part of Zimmer’s Bleeding Fingers composer collective. The composers capture the dramatic intensity of the series with driving percussion, orchestra, vocalizations and traditional music stylings from indigenous Hawaiian culture.  Co-created by Jason Momoa and Thomas Pa’a Sibbet, Chief of War is a production of FIFTH SEASON and Chernin Entertainment for Apple TV+.  The series made its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes today with new episodes airing every Friday.

20th Television and Hollywood Records are excited to release Washington Black (Original Soundtrack) today. Composer Cameron Moody, a rising voice in film and television music, has crafted a sweeping, emotionally resonant score for the new series, drawing on a lifetime of musical passion and a journey that began in Atlanta and led to the legendary scoring stages of Hollywood. All eight episodes of the limited series are available on Hulu.

“Conducting is like lining up in front of a golf ball.  It’s peaceful.  It’s terrifying,” Moody says.  “But once you load up and swing and you hear the music come alive… there are very few things like it.”
