Do you remember Tamagotchis? These 
digital pets were all the rage in 1997. You had to take care of your little “pixel pet”, raising and nurturing them through a lifecycle. It was fun toy that also taught children responsibility by requiring that they be an active participant in the life of their pet. I have to admit that I had a few Tamagotchis and mine kept dying (another reason why it is a good thing I never had human children).
If you were too young during the initial Tamagotchi invasion, you now have the chance to raise a digital pet of your very own. One of the newest versions that has been released is perfect for Star Wars Day because it is Darth Vader themed.
