From the Academy Award-winning writer/director of “Parasite,” Bong Joon Ho, comes his next groundbreaking cinematic experience, “Mickey 17.” The film arrives for purchase and rental Digitally at home on April 8. “Mickey 17” will also be available to purchase on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on May 13.

Written and directed by Bong Joon Ho, “Mickey 17” stars Robert Pattinson (“The Batman,” “Tenet”), Naomi Ackie (“Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker”), Steven Yeun (“Nope”), with Academy Award nominees Toni Collette (“Hereditary”), and Mark Ruffalo (“Poor Things”).

Equipment: New from Harvinger Studios the Newest Addition to the Savage Crucible Line Shield of D’Zaera

Harvinger Studios has done it again. Their newest figure is the Shield of D’Zaera ,the 2025 Convention Exclusive or Konclusive. This is the second figure that I have had the pleasure of reviewing for Savage Crucible and like the first one I reviewed, I am impressed. This figure is not only an excellent sculpt but is also well constructed.

Lakeshore Records released Happy Face—Original Series Soundtrack digitally featuring original music by EMMY-nominated composer Ariel Marx (A Small Light). Marx’s spare yet atmospheric score subtly augments the psychological tension of the dramatic series based on the popular memoir and podcast.  The album also includes the song “The Devil’s Bid,” performed by Hilary McCormack, a guest star in the series. The series starring Annaleigh Ashford and Dennis Quaid is streaming now exclusively on Paramount+.

Decca Records announces the release of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Focus Features’ THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND, with music written and performed Tom Basden, featuring vocals by Carey Mulligan. The film releases in select New York and Los Angeles theaters on Friday, March 28, and in theaters everywhere on Friday, April 18. The soundtrack is available digitally today, March 28 and will have a physical release on July 11th.

Hollywood Records announces the release of Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again – Vol. 1 (Episodes 1- 4) Original Soundtrack with music by The Newton Brothers (Marvel Animation’s “X-Men ‘97,” “Goosebumps,” and “Five Nights at Freddy’s”). The digital soundtrack is available at Spotify, Apple Music, and other digital platforms. Daredevil: Born Again – Vol. 2 (Episode 5- 9) Original Soundtrack is set for release on April 18.  

Continuing their collaboration with Marvel Studios, The Newton Brothers score amplifies the series’ dark, raw, and deeply thematic essence, incorporating elements of choir, organ synths, and orchestration to reflect the show’s religious undertones and high stakes.

Motor City Comic Con (MC3), Michigan’s largest and longest running comic book and pop culture convention since 1989, will be hosting their bi-yearly convention May 16-18, 2025, at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Motor City Comic Con is pleased to announce that The West Wing actor Martin Sheen, Star Wars actor Denis Lawson and Fringe actor Seth Gabel will be attending this Spring’s convention. Sheen, an award-winning actor with a career spanning over 6 decades, is best known for his roles as President Jed Bartlet in The West Wing and Captain Willard in Apocalypse Now. Several notable credits include his roles in Wall Street, Catch Me If You Can, The American President, and The Departed. Lawson is known for his roles as Wedge Antilles in the original Star Wars trilogy and as John Jarndyce in the television miniseries Bleak House. Gabel is known for his roles as agent Lincoln Lee on FOX’s television series Fringe, as Cotton Mather in the series Salem, and Adrian Moore on the FX series Nip/Tuck.

Varèse Sarabande and Craft Recordings announce deluxe reissues for Blade and Blade II, from prolific composers Mark Isham and Marco Beltrami. Debuting on vinyl for the first time, both soundtracks—equally celebrated as unique contributions to the film canon—will be released in multiple unique color variants. Releasing on May 16th and available for pre-order today, these classic scores will be pressed on “Bloodbath” red vinyl exclusively via Barnes & Noble, and “Blood Splatter” clear and black translucent vinyl in a limited-edition run of 500 on the Varèse Sarabande store.
