When you hear the name Playmobil you 
probably think, “Toys for little kids.” Playmobil does make toys for younger children but they are so much more. Equipment: Well Played Toys Producing Lost in Space Toys Based on the Netflix Series and We Can’t Wait!
Toy Fair is one of those events where there is never 
enough time to meet with everyone you have to meet with or see everything being released. Even though you make schedules and set up appointments there are always impromptu meetings and chance encounters that cut into what little time you have. One such impromptu meeting was caused by a banner that read, “Booth 4A3. Well Played.” On this banner was also the robot and Will Robinson from the Netflix reboot of Lost in Space. Though there wasn’t a description of what exactly could be found in Booth 4A3 I filed the booth number to the back of my mind before going about my business. Continue reading

Equipment: Toy Fair Coverage 2019…Our Visit to the Bluefin/Bandai/Tamashii Booth had Everything from Superheroes to Super Robots
Standing like a sentinel guarding the booth 
was a giant Gundam so without even looking I knew I was in the right place. When I went through the Bluefin/Bandai/Tamashii booth I realized just how much I needed all of these toys and models when I was a kid. Sadly as a kid I would never have been able to afford any of these but now as an adult not only can I afford these toys I can appreciate them on a whole other level. From the Gundam models to the Spike Spiegel action figure I seriously wanted to take it all home with me. Continue reading

Hasbro is a definite must when it comes
to visiting Toy Fair. They have so much to display that they have to set up off site from the Javits. The best way to describe what Hasbro has to offer is that it is 2 floors of fun and games. Even though they are several blocks away from the action everyone wants to see what they have to offer so they make the trip.

One of our favorite stops every year at Toy Fair
has to be the Diamond booth. Not only are the people who work there amazing but the products are quality. Everything they offer whether it is a statue, an action figure or even a simple bottle opener they make sure it is the best it can be.
The offerings for the upcoming year include statues depicting both Marvel and DC characters, including characters from the upcoming Captain Marvel and Shazam movies. We are looking forward to the Star Wars statues (as well as the porg bookends) and the incredible looking John Wick figures. Continue reading

Hard Copy: Titan Comics has a Blade Runner Comic and it Looks Awesome!
Titan Comics and Alcon Media Group have 
announced that the year’s most hotly-awaited comic series will be officially titled “Blade Runner 2019.”
Launching this summer, Titan Comics’ new series will be set during the exact timeframe of the original Blade Runner film, and feature a (mostly) new set of characters and situations.
Titan also confirmed that noted artist Andres Guinaldo (Justice League Dark, Captain America) will be joining acclaimed Blade Runner 2049 screenwriter Michael Green (Logan) and veteran collaborator Mike Johnson (Star Trek, Superman/Batman) to breathe life into their all-new Blade Runner comic books.
