Transmissions: Just When you Thought it was Safe to Watch TV…Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens Hits the Small Screen
Guilty pleasure. Defined by Webster’s as “something,
such as a movie, television program, or piece of music that one enjoys despite feeling that it is not held in high regard”. That word and definition definitely describes my love of the old B-movies from my childhood. And it definitely describes the Sharknado movie franchise. This is why I love these movies so much. They take the extraordinary and blow it out of the water. They is so ridiculous and over the top that they can’t help being great. This latest installment of the franchise does not disappoint.

Vids: Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice The Ultimate Edition Review
When Batman v Superman was released earlier this
year the internet exploded with negative reviews from fans, so many that I avoided the film in theaters. I heard the story was convoluted, confusing and should be avoided at all costs but I guess you shouldn’t believe everything you read on the internet. Shock of all shocks…they could be wrong.

Equipment: Beam Up with These Stellar Star Trek Figures from Square Enix…and Enter To Win Your Own Captain Kirk Sponsored by Entertainment Earth
There aren’t many Star Trek collectibles tied to the newest movie,
Star Trek: Beyond. Star Trek fans, I have found, are less about action figures and more the tech side of Trek. Star Trek has always been a more cerebral science fiction whereas Star Wars has always been more action oriented which seems to appeal to younger children this in turn creates a need for toys. Vids: The Wonder Years the Complete Collection from Time-Life
For six seasons, The Wonder Years captured the angst of
growing up in suburban middle-class America in the late ’60s, as seen through the life and times of Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage). Audiences eagerly followed his evolution as a typical awkward teenager who remembered every moment of his transition from childhood with excruciating detail and remarkable hindsight. From his first kiss with Winnie Cooper (Danica McKellar) to his friendship with Paul Pfeiffer (Josh Saviano) and the ups and downs of the Arnold family, fans shared in laughter, love, and loss, but above all, wonder.
