Bruce Timm has returned to Gotham City 
with Batman: The Caped Crusader. Released to Amazon Prime, this 10-episode series is a love letter to Batman: The Animated Series. Batman: The Caped Crusader is definitely the big brother to the 1992 show. Set in the 1940’s, this gritty Batman captures the noir feel of the era in both look and sound. Composer Frederik Wiedmann does an amazing job setting the tone for this take on the Dark Knight.

WaterTower Music is excited to announce 
the release of Batman: Caped Crusader (Original Television Soundtrack) with music by composer Frederik Wiedmann. The soundtrack is available now, on digital platforms, and released on August 1st coinciding with the series premiere on PRIME VIDEO.
Frederik Wiedmann notes “When I saw the first few frames of Batman: Caped Crusader, I was blown away. The beautiful Art-Deco setting in Gotham City, the character design, the unique approach to each character, simply stunning. It was so exciting to get to work on this show with Bruce Timm, James Tucker, Matt Reeves and J.J. Abrams. We quickly decided to have the music tonally match the setting and time period, which launched me back 80 years into the world for 1940’s noir film scores. I spent hours watching movies from that era (The Wolf Man, Hangover Square, Citizen Kane etc..), to really understand the aesthetics of these phenomenal films and their music. I incorporated the use of harmony, melody and orchestration techniques from that era to give the music a strong and distinct backbone, rooted in this time period. Our wonderful symphony orchestra and soloists performed every episode to perfection, and I very am very excited to share this music with the world!”

Lakeshore Records has released Saving 
Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally, featuring sparkling songs and music celebrating the first full-length film helmed by everyone’s favorite maritime Texan squirrel, Sandy Cheeks—a project that also lands in tandem with the 25th anniversary Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants.. Artists such as Carolyn Lawrence—the beloved voice of Cheeks, rock icon Linda Perry, singer songwriter Tami Neilson, singer Chantal Claret, producer Mickey Petralia, and the trio of composers known as Moniker, all come out to pay homage on the soundtrack. The album’s Music Supervisor and Executive Producer is Karyn Rachtman. The film starring Lawrence and longtime voice of SpongeBob, Tom Kenny, premieres today on Netflix.
When Bikini Bottom is scooped from the ocean, scientific squirrel Sandy Cheeks and her pal SpongeBob SquarePants saddle up for Texas to save their town.
