Hard Copy: The Making of The Batman from Abrams Books
Currently, there are behind the scenes books 
for T.V. shows, video games, and movies. It is nice to know that I am not alone in my desire to peer behind the curtain to see how the magic is created. These “Making of…” books offer great insight on how a particular project was crafted. The Art of The Batman from Abrams Books is a great look at how this film was created from concept to screen. Emily Blunt and directed by Doug Liman, will be released on Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack and Digital on July 5, it was announced today by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
Directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith), Edge of Tomorrow stars Oscar® nominee Tom Cruise (the Mission Impossible films, Top Gun: Maverick) and Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada, The Adjustment Bureau).
Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Village Roadshow Pictures’ sci-fi thriller Edge of Tomorrow was directed by Liman from a screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie and Jez Butterworth & John-Henry Butterworth and based on the novel entitled “All You Need is Kill” by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. Edge of Tomorrow was the first motion picture to be shot at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.

E.V.A.: Motor City Comic Con Day Two
Day two is in the books. On Saturday the aisles
were a bit more crowded and filled with so many cosplayers. Wandering around we saw several variations on Doctor Who, a plethora of Poison Ivy, Thor in his various stages from God to glutton and, of course, the 501st legion. I am very impressed by how much time and effort went into making these costumes and the hard work shows. Sure, there are some people who just put on sunglasses and say they are Tony Stark but there are others who build the armor. Continue reading
