Back in the day, I would get together with my 
friend Mike and we would play with our G.I. Joes together. We would start by breaking down the men into teams and, just like in gym class, we would pick who we wanted. We always fought over who got Beach Head on their team. I know that it would have been easier to have two Beach Head figures but we had a no duplicates rule. Now, G.I. and Beach Head has made a very triumphant return and I want him on my team. Continue reading

Equipment: G.I. Joe Classified Series Wave One
The 1980s will be remembered for many things. 
Questionable fashions (i.e. shoulder pads), wacky hairstyles, great music; this list could go on for a while but the one thing that might only make it on few person’s lists is the return of G.I. Joe. Back in 1964 when G.I. Joe first appeared he was a military man but by the 1970s military toys had fallen out of favor so G.I. Joe changed jobs and joined The Adventure Team. This rebranding of G.I. Joe kept the line going for a few more years but by the end of the decade G.I. Joe disappeared from shelves. Continue reading
