Wednesday—Original Series Soundtrack –a four track EP led off by a striking hit version of “Painted Black” performed by Wednesday Addams and additional tracks by The Nevermore Academy Orchestra. The EP is released digitally today, November 30. The series is created, executive produced and written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, from director and executive producer Tim Burton, and stars Jenna Ortega Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa, with guest stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán and Fred Armisen. Wednesday is streaming globally on Netflix.

Bring Home the Galaxy is back this week and 
Hasbro has revealed several new additions to The Black Series as part of the multi-week holiday gift-giving event. These new Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary figures from The Black Series include: Chewbacca, Paploo, Emperor Palpatine, Bib Fortuna and Stormtrooper. The figures all come in retro, Kenner-inspired packaging as the figures first appeared in 1983.

I was hooked. It wasn’t just the cyberpunk look of the anime; it was the music. So, when Netflix announced the production a live action show, I had my doubts they could get it right. Sure, I knew that the sound of the show could be replicated but could they capture the look? Oh yes, they captured the look and it was everything I wanted.
