Equipment: At Star Wars Celebration in Chicago Hasbro Announces what Fans and Collector’s Can Expect in 2019

Star Wars may have taken place “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away,” but it is being celebrated in our galaxy, on our planet, in Chicago at the Star Wars Celebration. Fans from all over the world have made the pilgrimage to this event in hopes of meeting one of their heroes from either in front of or behind the camera.

It isn’t just about who is there it is the time and place for big reveals. One of the most anticipated reveals had to be the teaser trailer. Transmissions: Press Conference Video with the Cast and Crew of Avengers: Endgame

It was the snap that changed the galaxy. After gathering all of the Infinity Stones the mad titan, Thanos snapped his fingers and half of all life everywhere just dusted out of existence. The end of Avengers: Infinity War left fans in a state of shock, me included. Now, almost a year later comes the sequel we have been anticipating.

Before Endgame we get a view behind the scenes from our favorite heroes. Part of the cast of Avengers: Endgame gathered together to talk about the biggest movie event of the year. Moderated by Jon Favreau the press conference is a star studded (albeit a bit dust covered) event. The participants included the Russo Brothers, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Don Cheadle, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson and more.

Avengers: Endgame premieres on April 26th.

On Sunday, April 7, Discovery viewers from 95 countries around the world witnessed history in the making in EXPEDITION UNKNOWN: EGYPT LIVE as a team of Egyptian archaeologists and explorers uncovered a 2,500-year-old mummy of a high priest for the first time ever on live television. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC announced today that four Batman titles will be released on 4K UHD to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the DC Super Hero created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. The films include 1989’s Batman and 1992’s Batman Returns, directed by Tim Burton, and 1995’s Batman Forever and 1997’s Batman & Robin, directed by Joel Schumacher. The four films, which earned more than $1.2 billion in global box office, have been remastered in 4K UHD for the first time. Continue reading →

Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack ($39.99 SRP) and Blu-ray Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP), as well as on Digital ($19.99 HD, $14.99 SD). Last year it was announced that Mego was making a comeback. Anyone who knows about toys and action figures knows what Mego was so their return was big news. Mego was best known for their 8 inch figures in cloth uniforms and in my eyes ruled the 1970s.
