As the highly anticipated film Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok heads towards theaters, fans have been hungry for more Thor products, including more of the Disney Store-exclusive Marvel Select Mighty Thor action figure. Now, with Ragnarok looming, Thor makes his prophesied return, alongside a brand-new, Disney Store-exclusive Marvel Select figure by Diamond Select Toys! That’s right, Thor has brought a friend from work back with him, and Planet Hulk is landing on Earth in October!

This exclusive figure of Planet Hulk depicts him in his gladiator armor from the character-redefining “Planet Hulk” storyline in The Incredible Hulk comics. Rocketed toward an extra-terrestrial paradise by Marvel’s greatest heroes, Hulk instead crash-lands on the cruel planet Sakaar, where he is forced to fight in the arenas for the enjoyment of the crowd. The figure stands approximately 10 inches tall (11.5 inches with his feather crest) and features 16 points of articulation, allowing him to strike a wide variety of combat-ready poses. This time around the crew of the colony ship Covenant is brought out of hypersleep early to answer a distress call (not so much of a distress call; John Denver singing Country Road which in itself is distressing). The crew finds that they are still a fair distance from their final destination so they venture to the planet’s surface to determine if it would be feasible to colonize instead. Following up on the acclaimed first game, this massive standalone expansion has 1-4 players taking on the roles of the Ghostbusters as they investigate the Mood Slime that has flooded New York City, causing earthquakes and riots in an attempt to bring Vigo back. Inspired by the Ghostbusters movies, comics, and toylines, the game has players taking on the Scoleri brothers, riding the Statue of Liberty, and battling through Vigo’s Ghost army. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment returns to the roots of DC’s greatest Super Heroes – and their unifying moment – with the celebratory release of Justice League: The New Frontier – Commemorative Edition on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack, Blu-ray™ Steelbook, and DVD on October 3, 2017.

For the new Commemorative Edition of the popular 2008 PG-13 animated film, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has produced an all-new featurette spotlighting the late Darwyn Cooke. The comic book author and artist’s seminal work, DC: The New Frontier, received an Eisner, Harvey and Shuster Award, and that six-issue comic book limited series served as the key source material from which the film was adapted. Justice League: The New Frontier – Commemorative Edition also features box art from Cooke’s canon of dazzling New Frontier imagery.
