That special time of year has arrived. The Earth

The days have started getting longer and nature sounds are the soundtrack to the sunsets. All of these combined can mean only one thing, Christmas is right around the corner.

Vids: Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Announces Evil Dead Rise
Experience a riveting, gore-filled thriller 
when “Evil Dead Rise” arrives for purchase Digitally at home on May 9. The film is directed by Lee Cronin, starring Lily Sullivan (“I Met a Girl,” TV’s “Barkskins”) and Alyssa Sutherland (TV’s “New Gold Mountain,” TV’s “Vikings). The film will also be available to purchase on 4K UHD Combo Pack, Blu-ray and DVD beginning on June 27.
From New Line Cinema and Renaissance Pictures, the film also stars Morgan Davies (TV’s “The End,” “Storm Boy”), Gabrielle Echols (“Reminiscence”) and introducing Nell Fisher (“Northspur”). The film was produced by longtime franchise producer Rob Tapert and executive produced by series creator and horror icon Sam Raimi and cult legend and “Ash” himself, Bruce Campbell, along with John Keville, Macdara Kelleher, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Romel Adam and Victoria Palmeri.

yesterday, Hasbro revealed a new Black Series ARC Trooper Fives figure, inspired by the heroic character in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I think it is about time Hasbro released a “Fives” action figure.

Equipment: May the 4th Press Box from Hasbro Unboxing
Today is May 4th, or as many of our readers 
call it: Star Wars Day. I do find it fun telling people, “May the 4th be with you” and confusing them. This year May the 4th is special because Hasbro sent Geekstronomy a box filled with Star Wars items to commemorate the day. I was shocked when I opened the box; it was like Christmas morning and I was one happy kid!

Hard Copy: Review of The Art of Star Wars Visions from Dark Horse Books
Star Wars: Visions is an animated anthology 
series that airs on Disney Plus that offers a different view on the Star Wars universe. This anime styled series tells stories peripheral to the events that occurred in the movies. I really like that the writers were able to create stories that weren’t about anyone named Skywalker or anyone Skywalker adjacent.

It’s been 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett 
stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now a new team has been assembled to restart the project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.
Says Daniel James Chan: “In ‘Quantum Leap’ we’re on a space shuttle one week and the next in the old west. That type of storytelling calls for a broad range of music flavors which is one of my favorite parts of being a composer.”

Diamond Select Toys has secured the license for Game of Thrones and will launch a line of Gallery Dioramas at the end of 2023. Starting with Jon Snow, the line will cover the main characters of the series, each captured at approximately 1/8 scale in high-quality PVC.

Training Simulations: Valiant Comics and Green Ronin Publishing are Developing Valiant Adventures RPG
Green Ronin Publishing announced that 
it has signed a licensing agreement with DMG Entertainment and Valiant Entertainment and will be publishing the Valiant Adventures Roleplaying Game in 2024. The game is based on Green Ronin’s popular and award-winning Mutants & Masterminds RPG.
“We have designed RPG material that’s appeared in Valiant comics before, so making a full roleplaying game is the natural next step,” said Green Ronin President Chris Pramas. “We’re excited to bring the characters and settings of the Valiant Universe into the Mutants & Masterminds family.”
