When the original King Kong premiered in 1933 
the special effects were groundbreaking for their time. The stop motion effects were achieved by Willis O’Brien and Buzz Gibson. Stop motion isn’t used much (if not at all) any longer but for the time period the effects kept the audience mesmerized. Comic-Con will debut new prototypes of the upcoming Captain Action 1/6th scale line of uniform sets, accompanied by a big publishing announcement.
The new 1/6 scale uniform sets will kick off with our “Attack On Mars” set. This retro space-suit for Captain Action is evocative of classic sci-fi movies and EC space explorers.
