The Flash’s world spins out of control when his arch-nemesis Reverse-Flash puts the Scarlet Speedster into a vicious time loop in LEGO DC Super Heroes: The Flash, the latest animated film from Warner Bros. Animation, DC Entertainment and The LEGO Group. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will distribute the full-length movie on Blu-rayTM Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP) and DVD ($19.98 SRP) on March 13, 2018, which followed the Digital release one month ago on February 13, 2018.

In LEGO DC Super Heroes: The Flash, Reverse-Flash manipulates the Speed Force to put The Flash into a time loop that forces him to relive the same day over and over again – with progressively disastrous results, including losing his powers and being fired by the Justice League. Equipment: Mattel at Toy Fair 2018

Toy Fair is really a sight to behold. To give you an idea of just how massive it is, the venue is the Jacob Javits convention center. This building has a total of 1,840,000 square footage with 840,000 square feet designated as the exhibition space. Toy Fair takes up the whole place and that doesn’t include the events that occur off-site. So probably close to one million square feet of toys; that my friends is a lot of toys. I think it would put Santa’s workshop to shame. Continue reading →

Equipment: NECA Blade Runner 2049 Cinemachines Spinner

The Batmobile, The Black Beauty, K.I.T.T., these are all iconic vehicles. Each one is linked to a larger than life hero. Batman, The Green Hornet, David Hasselhoff, you can’t think of one without the other because the vehicles are an extension of these heroes. Another iconic vehicle is the Spinner from Blade Runner. When the original Blade Runner came out in 1982 the Spinner became linked to the hero, Deckard, and now with the sequel, Blade Runner 2049, the new Spinner has become linked to Officer K, the new Blade Runner on the block. Equipment: Diamond Select Toys at Toy Fair 2018

Another year and another Toy Fair under our belts, time truly does fly. This year was different because I had staff. Actually calling them staff almost seems like an insult since Rob Banks from The Red Cup Review and The Domination are so much more than just helpers. Giant shout outs to them both.

No matter how hard I work at Toy Fair I feel that I don’t get anything accomplished. The show is massive. I know that there are things I have never had the chance to see in the 7 years I have been attending. It would be nice if we had a full week at Toy Fair. That would work out for me, but I don’t think that the vendors would agree. Continue reading →

When Negan and the Saviors arrived on The Walking Dead everything changed. Negan was the most sadistic and vile of all of the villains that Rick and company had ever encountered. Negan and his brutal group took whatever they wanted from whomever they came across and that included taking innocent lives. Fans seem to love Negan though. He is, to use the cliché phrase, the one you love to hate. Regardless of whether you love him or completely despise him you have to admit that Jeffery Dean Morgan gives an excellent performance. Equipment: DC Collectibles Reveals New 2018 Slate Ahead of NY Toy Fair

DC Collectibles, the award-winning line of collectibles from DC Entertainment, will celebrate 20 years of toy-making at this year’s American International Toy Fair in New York. To commemorate this milestone anniversary, DC Collectibles revealed huge plans for its 2018 lineup, including several high-profile collaborations such as a life-size bust of The Joker designed by one of Hollywood’s most celebrated special makeup effects artists, Rick Baker.

DC Collectibles also recruited My Chemical Romance frontman and DC’s Young Animal curator Gerard Way to put his own spin on DC’s iconic Batman and The Joker characters for the company’s longest-running statue line, Batman: Black & White. Other collectibles on tap for 2018 include new action figure sets based on Geoff Johns and Gary Frank’s hit DOOMSDAY CLOCK comic book series and new variants for DC Artists Alley designer vinyls, plus several new additions to popular statue and action figure lines.
