E.V.A. : Just Announced Star Wars Actor John Boyega is Coming to Motor City Comic Con this May

Motor City Comic Con (MC3), which runs each Spring and Fall, is Michigan’s largest and longest running pop culture convention. The event which began in 1989, will be taking place May 15-17, 2026, at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace, previously the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI. Motor City Comic Con is known as one of the premier conventions in the United States and the ultimate destination for all things pop culture, entertainment, and the celebration of creativity.

Motor City Comic Con is pleased to announce that actor John Boyega will be joining the growing list of celebrities at this May’s convention.

John Boyega is an English actor who played Moses in the 2011 film Attack the Block where he received notoriety in England before attaining international recognition with his work portraying Finn in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi.

Soundwaves: Ready or Not 2: Here I Come Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Music by Sven Faulconer

Hollywood Records and Searchlight Pictures announce the release of Ready or Not 2: Here I Come– Original Motion Picture Soundtrack today, March 20, with music by composer Sven Faulconer and original themes by the score’s producer Brian Tyler.  Faulconer and Tyler’s original music deftly combines orchestra and synths creating a vividly dark backdrop to the intense and often over the top horror film sequel directed by Radio Silence (AKA Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett). Also included is a striking cover of the classic song “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” performed by Brian Fallon and Madi Diaz.

Fantasticon has once again landed in Toledo for another weekend of geeky fun. This show, which bills itself as a “mid-sized” show is a perfect convention for first timers and families. Having attended some of the “big” shows such as New York Comic Con I like Fantasticon because it isn’t sensory overload. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and the celebrity guests are usually very accessible and very friendly.

Soundwaves: Ice Road Vengeance Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Music by Michael Yezerski

Written and directed by Jonathan Hensleigh (The Punisher), Liam Neeson plays an ice road trucker mourning his brother in this sequel to 2021’s The Ice Road. The Taken star takes the road less traveled in the action thriller by scaling Everest to scatter his brother’s ashes. Alas, his frigid journey is compounded when he comes up against mercenaries in the Himalayas. Luckily, he has a local guide (Fan Bingbing) by his side to help navigate the treacherous conditions.

Soundwaves: The Vampire Lestat –“ALL FALL DOWN” Single Available Today

The world’s first immortal rockstar, Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), is back pleasing fledglings and fans worldwide with the debut of “All Fall Down,” the second official rock single from The Vampire Lestat, ahead of its premiere on Sunday, June 7 on AMC and AMC+. AMC Networks and Lakeshore Records have released the single on the recently launched Vampire Lestat artist profile pages at major digital music services, including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, with additional songs to be released in the coming months. As an added bonus, the series’ new rousing opening title sequence featuring the single has also been released. “All Fall Down’s” original music and lyrics are by series composer Daniel Hart and performed by Reid. This song follows the recent drop of the series’ first official rock single, ‘Long Face’.

Soundwaves: American Classic Original Series Soundtrack Music by Tom Howe

Lakeshore Records and Fifth Season recently released American Classic—Original Series Soundtrack today, March 6, featuring music by Emmyâ-nominated composer Tom Howe (Ted Lasso).  Howe’s whimsical and poignant score is a lively backdrop to the heartfelt comedy series about a family full of drama. The series follows a Broadway star’s striking fall from grace and subsequent self-realization.  The new MGM+ series starring Kevin Kline, Laura Linney and Jon Tenney is out now with new episodes releasing weekly on Sundays, leading up to the series finale on Sunday, April 12.
